高希,现为广东以色列理工学院化学工程系长聘副教授,博士生导师,国家级高层次青年人才。他先后在厦门大学、浙江大学和爱荷华州立大学获得化学工程学士、硕士和博士学位,曾在美国能源部国家能源技术实验室担任博士后及研究科学家。他的研究方向涵盖化学反应器工程、生物质/塑料热化学转化技术、多相流模拟及人工智能等领域。他发表了70余篇SCI学术论文,拥有6项国家发明专利,开发了国际知名开源CFD软件MFIX中的多个求解器。作为负责人,他承担了多项国家级及省级科研项目。担任Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research客座编辑、Carbon NeutralityFrontiers in Energy青年编委,以及中国化工学会过程模拟与仿真专业委员会委员。多次担任国际会议分会主席/召集人/主持人,并作过10多次主题/邀请报告。曾被评为Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research期刊有影响力研究者,并获得汕头市高层次青年人才、广东以色列理工学院优秀青年学者称号等。


Xi Gao is currently a tenured associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is recognized as a national high-level young talent. He earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Xiamen University, Zhejiang University, and Iowa State University, respectively. He previously served as a postdoctoral researcher and research scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory. His research focuses on chemical reactor engineering, thermochemical conversion technologies for biomass/plastics, multiphase flow simulation, and artificial intelligence. He has published over 70 SCI-indexed academic papers and holds 6 national invention patents. He has developed multiple solvers for the internationally renowned open-source CFD software, MFIX. As a principal investigator, he has led several national and provincial research projects. He serves as a guest editor for Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, a youth editorial board member for Carbon Neutrality and Frontiers in Energy, and a committee member of the Process Simulation and Simulation Professional Committee of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China. He has chaired sessions at international conferences multiple times and delivered over 10 keynote/invited presentations. He has been recognized as an influential researcher by the journal Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research and has received honors such as Shantou City High-Level Young Talent and Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology Outstanding Young Faculty Award.
